Steak & Rice Wet Burrito

I love mexican food burritos, tacos, fajitas pretty much any kind of mexican food.  I have posted wet burritos on my here before, but my husband requested that I make steak wet burritos. Which then got me to thinking of how I could put a spin on the wet burritos that I normally make using ground beef.  This is when I realized that I had a box of mexican rice in the pantry that I could add to the burritos, which turned out amazing.  Anytime we go our local mexican restaurant my husband orders a steak wet burrito they have never been a favorite of mine but I sure did enjoy this burrito.  These burritos are easy to make and the sauce is amazing, give these a try for your next dinner you will not be disappointed.

Steak & Rice Wet Burritos

2 6oz-8oz steaks
1 Tbs of Taco Seasoning
1 can of Refried Beans
1 Box of Mexican Rice
1 can of Enchilada Sauce (Mild)
1 jar of Brown Gravy
1/4 cup of Tomato Sauce
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 Burrito sized soft shells

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. First start the mexican rice, cook according to the directions on the box. Cut steak into pieces and fry up in a pan. Once the steak is cooked through add in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Once steak and taco seasoning are mixed together well add in the refried beans and mix together well. While the rice is finishing up put brown gravy, enchilada sauce, and tomato sauce in a small sauce pan and heat over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Now it is time to assemble the burritos. Spread a thin layer of the enchilada sauce mixture on the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Using burrito shells place meat and bean mixture in the shell, then top with rice, and cheese wrap up the burrito and place in the pan. Continue these steps until all of the mixture is gone. Now top the burritos with the remaining enchilada sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Cook in the oven for about 15-20 minutes then serve and enjoy!
